James Hinchcliffe took his message to the nation to commemorate World Blood Donor Day. Appearing on “Megyn Kelly TODAY,” the Schmidt Peterson Motorsports driver recounted how he needed 22 units of blood to save his life following a 2015 Indianapolis 500 practice crash. Hinchcliffe has become an avid spokesman for the American Red Cross, encouraging blood donations and even setting up blood drives in conjunction with Verizon IndyCar Series races.
