Wilson Children's Fund

Time is running out to own an exclusive photograph of the 2017 Indianapolis 500 field signed by all 33 starters plus a host of racing legends, with all proceeds benefiting the family of the late Justin Wilson.

In addition to the 33 starters in the race that included Indianapolis 500 winners Helio Castroneves, Scott Dixon, Ryan Hunter-Reay, Tony Kanaan, Buddy Lazier, Juan Pablo Montoya, Alexander Rossi and Takuma Sato, each photo includes autographs from two-time Formula 1 champion Fernando Alonso (who made his highly publicized Indy car debut in the race) and Indy car greats Mario Andretti, A.J. Foyt, Dario Franchitti, Dan Gurney, Rick Mears, Roger Penske, Bobby Rahal, Paul Tracy and Jimmy Vasser.

A total of 10 prints, each 20 by 30 inches, are available in the silent auction that ends at 1 p.m. ET Friday. Each print has received the minimum bid of at least $1,000, so bidding now must be $1,100 or higher. Bids must come in $100 increments and may be placed by email to Paul@MotorsportCollector.com. Bidders may contact The Motorsport Collector – at the email address or by calling (800) 722-8630 – to inquire on the status of their bid.

The 10 winning bidders will be notified by the end of the business day Friday and can pay directly to the Wilson Children’s Fund PayPal account. Wilson, the seven-time Indy car race winner known as one of the friendliest drivers in the INDYCAR paddock, left a wife and two daughters when he died in August 2015 from injuries sustained in a crash at Pocono Raceway. Donations directly to the Wilson Children’s Fund are still being graciously accepted.
