James Hinchcliffe, Scott Dixon, Helio Castroneves, and Simon Pagenaud

Make-A-Wish Canada and Honda Canada Foundation are giving racing fans the unique opportunity to own the firesuit that James Hinchcliffe wore during when he finished third in the 2016 Honda Indy Toronto.

James HinchcliffeThe firesuit, which Honda Indy Toronto race fans were able to sign and leave messages of support for Hinchcliffe in exchange for a donation to Make-A-Wish, is part of a charity auction, which begins today and runs through Dec. 11.

Proceeds of the sale of the suit - as well as signed suits by Canadian racing heroes Paul Tracy and Alex Tagliani - will support Make-A-Wish Canada's efforts to grant magical wishes for kids facing life-threatening medical conditions. Since 2010, Honda Canada Foundation has raised more than $500,000 at INDYCAR events in Canada.

Hinchcliffe, a Toronto native and Honda Canada ambassador, has supported Make-A-Wish Canada since 2014 by donating a firesuit to the cause. In addition to his 2016 firesuit, Hinchcliffe has also provided his never worn firesuit from the 2015 Honda Indy Toronto. The custom racing suits of Tracy and Tagliani were worn in Verizon IndyCar Series races in Toronto and Edmonton in 2010 (Tracy), 2011 (Tracy) and 2013 (Tagliani).
