Ryan Hunter-Reay joined University of Alabama football coach Nick Saban and heavyweight boxing champ Deontay Wilder on April 13 for an event to promote the April 26 Honda Indy Grand Prix of Alabama at Barber Motorsports Park.
Saban called himself a Verizon IndyCar Series fan and praised Hunter-Reay's skills.
"When you’re a coach, you have tremendous respect for great competitors," Saban said. "Everybody is going that fast, and I'm interested in what it must take to stay focused and make the right decisions."
